The Polite Society event is this Saturday, Dec 12.

There will be several courses of fire focused on the moving through hallways, around corners and doors in a building environment. 

Bring anything you would like to shoot even including Pistol, Carbine, Shotgun, BB. This will be variable round count depending on what ammo you can support. I will also have a Zero ammo option so you can do most drills with Zero ammo or club provided BB pistol or Red Training gun. 

This will be accompanied by standard marksmanship standard drills to insure everyone gets good trigger time. 

NEW SHOOTER ORIENTATION @ 8:30 AM 

We will run a cold range so new shooters must attend the orientation. There are minimal places to sit so bring a camp chair if you would like. 

 * New shooter orientation starts at 8:30 AM 
 * Registration starts at 8:45 a.m.
 * Educators attend at no charge.
 * All Covid restrictions will be observed. 

Please bring your carry gear, safety gear and min. 100 rounds pistol (optional). ... A strong side hip holster and belt is recommended. Preferably one that has minimal straps/retention devices and does not require two hands to re-holster. Gear is available for loan. Email me. Utahps@xmission.com

The Utah Polite Society: What to Bring to a Utah Polite Society Event 

The basic philosophy behind the Utah Polite Society’s equipment rules is simple: carry the same gear you carry every day. Since the goal of all of our events it to help people prepare to use their firearm in self-defense, it only make sense to use your every day carry (EDC) gear. 


Event fee is $20 per shooter Cash is preferable. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. **YOU MUST ATTEND A NEW SHOOTER ORIENTATION FOR YOUR FIRST EVENT. 

WE ARE NOW LOCATED AT THE WASATCH SHOOTERS ASSOCIATION RANGE IN FRUIT HEIGTHS / KAYSVILLE. 
 Use GPS as Highway 89 exists are changing.

From Highway 89 turn East onto 400 North which intersects Highway 89 with a stop light. After turning East on 400 North immediately make a left (North) and follow the road up the hill. Go past the gate. At the top of the hill turn left into the fenced area. From I-15, take the Kaysville Exit onto 200 North, crossing over Highway 89 onto 400 North.  

Social distance and masks will be observed.
