Leadership

NEW YORK TIMES REPORTS:

WASHINGTON — President Obama declared in an interview that the United States was not winning the war in Afghanistan
Mr. Obama, be very careful about the message that you send. In this interview you discuss negotiating with the enemy. Fine, I think negotiating peace is wise. Don't begin the negotiations by telling them that we are "not winning the war."

News flash for all the Al Qaeda goons hiding in their caves.
"Hold on boy's, We're almost there. Victory against the Great Satan is near."

News flash for all US soldiers putting their lives on the line.
"You have failed."

Asked if the United States was winning in Afghanistan, a war he effectively adopted as his own last month by ordering an additional 17,000 troops sent there, Mr. Obama replied flatly, “No.”
If you are in a fistfight with a goon, do you announce out loud in the middle that you are losing? (if things are going your way or not)

Bluff, damn it.
